Are you playing Jacoby Rule? If so, with no cube yet, I'd jump out. If he fans or "enters badly" you can double right away, and if he gets the 4 point you're likely to be sneaking up on a good cube later on. If you had already doubled, then you'd have a good case for keeping on blitzing.
