"Rawhide" was about cattle drives in the old west. After resting overnight, the cowboys would put the cattle into a herd and get them going on the trail for another day's journey. The order was "Head 'em up, move 'em out" And that is what the decision is all about. Putting the men together, rollin forward, or going for the second checker. Despite this, "Rawhide" is a magnificant song out of bob's country bunker, do you remember?
