1. It's gammon save but I think it is still worth putting White on the bar at the cost of 7 shots, because if White dances, it will help us clear our troublesome outfield points. Even if we're hit, we're not dead yet because we have return shots. 8/5*/3.

2. This seems to be very similar to a position from Trice's book that is a bare money take. If so, then ATS this should be an easy take. D/T.

3. My first inclination is to run the back checker, but I think we need to build a prime to counter White's backgame. With White having two checkers on the bar, this seems to be a good moment to position builders strategically. I'll try 16/11 8/6.
