5/0 is forced. 5/4 looks standard. We don't want to get hit, but if hit we either want that to come early (before opp has made the 5th homeboard point) or late (after we've borne off a lot of checkers). Getting ready to clear the highest points now fits those desires. 4/3 and 3/2 leave awkward (as in dangerous=blot-prone) distributions. 5/4 could double blot next turn, but we shouldn't fear the outliers at the expense of the typical.
