That's what surprised me the most too. Granted, it's nowhere near 'stat. sig.' yet, but even if it goes polar opposites on the stat. sig. now it's still closer than the rollouts I've seen! The GNU rollout on my site has slotting better by .0156. The numbers are so close [between the rollouts] I'll wait until I extend the Snowie rollout [which will take ages] before I see if we can conclude anything. I doubt I ever consider splitting with an opening 2-1 though, regardless of what the rollouts say.
