1. 6/3 6/5

The old stand by is "clear from the back point against the 1 point" … but in favour of an even number of checkers on the last 2 points 6/3 6/5 looks awfully nice and more flexible. With 3 back I'll stick with the more flexible 6/3 6/5. Lots of other things to do with 1's but they don't look right to me.

2. 24/22 13/12

Money Play -32 / 143 Blue is behind in the race and needs to build a prime or get white off his anchor. White isn't anxious to burn checkers behind blues 3 point anchor so moving up to the 22 is no great defensive loss and opens up another escaping 6 for later. 24/21 seems like a good way to lose. 8/7* kills what little prime blue has started. 4/3 leave white too free. 6/3 takes pressure off the 5 point anchor.

3. D/T

Money Play +40 94

Dead drop in a race so it's all about the rehit and the close.

White will almost certainly get a shot or two in this mess and will get have his 1/3 shots at a win some time in the match. So I'm pretty darn sure it's a take. Blue has a double in the race but I'm not sure if he's got quite enough to cube in this position.

Being unsure I'll go with the Kit's rule.
