This looks like a kind of trap situation where you want opp to run one so you can a) PoH on the remaining checker, and b) pick up the runner. If you get the choice to do only one of these, maybe you're supposed to do the one you have the better chance of pulling off, or maybe you give priority to a). In either case I like:
