There's some value to solidifying your board and 8/7 isn't a great place to put that checker, anyway. If I count right, 8/2, 16/15 leaves one fewer immediate shot though probably more shots next roll than 16/10, 8/7.

Mary says I've been playing too imaginatively so I'll go with the anti-QF play:

8/2, 16/15.
