Just a little more reasoning on why I like Blue's cube. Blue definitely has the upper hand (escaped; race lead; opp locked on the 24-point). Sure, there are blot leavers and those can get hit -- leading to losses. But how likely are those (12 immediate shot rolls of which about 4 are hit)? In the meantime White can improve considerably by rolling any of his nine odd-odd pointmakers, and when White misses the blot it is fairly easy to cover -- success being equivalent to the odd-odd rolls.

Only Blue's awkwardness gives White a take, I believe, but that shouldn't dissuade Blue from doubling.
