Why wouldn't they ban hidden IP addresses? Better would be to substitute another (real) IP address for the one you're actually connecting from. (They could figure this out, too, but it's takes some intelligence+effort. Banning is a no-brainer exercise and the P65 idiots are a great existence proof of that.)

But this is a question for Stick. :)
