Problem 1 I don't want to compromise structure with quite a bit of game to play. Leading in the race, I'm abandoning the anchor now. Besides, it isn't a real anchor so how much am I giving up? 18/13, 18/16

Problem 2 Gammons don't hurt so much, but backgammons do. 25/24, 3/1

Problem 1 Points is points, even in the outfield here. Blocking 3-3, 4-4, and 6-6 looks better than blocking 6-5. 24/18, 14/12
