The ol' slot-or-split question

(Don't know that the subject line is accurate since I can't find a legal, pure split play. OTOH, I know what a pain it can be to try and find new subject lines.)
These kinds of positions have given me fits because at least part of the decision (major part?) comes down to priorities. I'm giving priority to keeping opp's back checker back. That decision rules out 25/21 (probably what you refer to as a 'slot' play). Still I have some options:
25/24, 13/10 -- don't like this because a checker on the 10-point here is weak.
25/24, 8/5 -- starts the 5-point with the wrong checker while giving up the valuable 8-point in the process.
25/24, 6/3 -- does unstack and to a decent point, but of course the 5-point would be a much better point to make (soon).
25/22, 6/5 -- OK, now we slot the point we want with the checker we want. Downside (compared to others above) is that we don't get any diversity in opp's homeboard.
Now back to my choice of top priority -- hinder the back checker. Slotting 6/5 appears to do that best.
25/22, 6/5
