I don't really want to get into a whole thing but, and correct me if I'm wrong ... from what I understand you are saying you're an intermediate/advanced player. If this is true than this line 'I said I drop MANY gammonish cubes that technically are takes, not EVERY such cube. If it's a marginal take, I'll drop.'

In short, that's some pretty damn impressive OtB analysis for anyone, nevertheless an advanced player. Being able to accurately estimate gammonish positions where a ton of equity can be swung on moving a checker a pip to the point where you know it's a marginal take...I think you should move up to the Open division.
