I wrote a simulation for single elimination tournaments where each contest was 50/50. Its pretty clear that anyone who plays the most tournaments ends up as the point leader (didnt even need a simulation just common sense). When changing 50/50 to something else and that player plays more then he is even more likely to lead in points. I am not sure how ABT points are awarded but if each tournament gives the same number of points then go to tournaments with few players.
