"Ray's Rules" are something like this (retranslated back from Danish):

Hit first, ask questions later. Thou shalt not kill (checkers). Beware of four-legged creatures. Avoid big swings. Don't worry, be lucky! Double cautiously, redouble aggressively. It's ok to lose your market. Always know the match score. Go cautiously when you are leading. Steer around obstacles.
