IMO, even when things go suadesides for blue, his net gammon loss will be closer to 30% rather than 40%.

I don't know about going "suadesides" (without context I wouldn't have a clue of what this means) but if I'm off that much on my G-fraction (and I could be) then in this particular situation it looks as though my takepoint calculation would be way off. I was trying to recall what Cube Reference Postions had to say about gammon fractions for the 23-20 backgame, but not only may my memory have missed this but also the situation (very well-timed vs. not) should have an effect and estimating that is another source of potential error.
