New Baffle box at local tournament

Let's think about this. I believe the goal of rolling dice (with or without any other devices like cups and/or baffle boxes) is to extract a pair of uniformly distributed random numbers on the integer interval [1,6] (each). So one die is tossed and it comes up X and the second die is tossed and it comes up Y. Occasionally the second die bumps the first die and instead of X it now shows Z. Was the roll random? If the second person is capable of intentionally affecting the first die's value then it seems pretty clear to me that the entire concept of random throws from baffle boxes is called into question, regardless of whether it's the initial roll or the Nth roll of the game.
I think the problem is that though it is likely impossible for a roller on the opening roll to control the number he rolls, it may be feasible for a 'second' roller to aim the die to hit the one already flat on the board to attempt to disturb a high number rolled by the first roller.
I think both players need to drop their die (I have the black one, you have the white one) at nearly the same time. Definitely you can't let #1 come to rest before #2 is put in the box.
