ABT points are awarded based on the number of entries and a normalized percentage of the total prizes awarded (1st is always twice the points as 2nd, 2nd is always twice the points as 3rd/4th, 1st consolation is the same as 2nd, etc. Only cashing players get points.)

So winning bigger tournaments is better than winning smaller ones. The more places paid the more the points are diluted, but most directors don't err too much either way from a normal number of paying places.
