3-digits versus 4-digits

For most positions, 3 digits are sufficient in nacbracs. For rollouts, however, my preference is to display 4 digits. Of late, I have been posting 3-digit nacbracs above my 4-digit rollouts. See, for instance, this rollout of 42P-64P-53. For those of us who do not have access to the original XG files, I think it’s a happy compromise. The advantage to displaying 4 digits comes when rollouts are combined. Nack’s computation of the aggregate nacbrac for 65R-31P-41T-62 is a case in point. I suspect that a fourth digit would make the calculation more accurate.
Nack, if you see this, please comment on your experiences. You are in a position to know whether a fourth digit improves accuracy when rollouts are combined.
