New Baffle box at local tournament

I agree that it's a good idea to maximize the randomness of the rolls.

In general, this discussion is not something I feel strongly about and I would not object to anyone wanting to use both a baffle box and cups.

The only point I am making is why even bother to use a baffle box if it can't guarantee random rolls?

While some may think that using a baffle box and a clock will make them look really serious and professional, I am wondering how a complete beginner will think about such a setup. The baffle box sends a signal that players will cheat with the dice if given the opportunity and therefor it has been necessary to construct a device to counter the cheating.
