If you redouble now, then after any 2 on your upcoming roll, it goes double, pass. Any single ace followed by a single 2 is also not so hot. Add to that the possibility of white to roll by winning doubles, and it should be clear that you are not much of a favorite after redouble, take. As the double outs after a single 2 come when you have considerable remaining winning chances, your redouble costs a lot.

Putting it together, wait a roll and double after a non-2 followed by a non-double.
