Position - Basically when you act on said round of betting. In theory the later you are to act the better your position is considered to be since you get to see all the action before you act.
in position - usually used as a heads up term and referring to the last player to act, he's in position meaning he's in the best spot. (again, the other player has to act before him so he has that information before he makes his decision)
out of position (oop) - would be the poor sap who has to act first in the same situation
