In Response To: Purpose of clocks - an alternative to CONSIDER (Stick)

People have different speeds in thinking, moving, reconsidering, making a final decision and picking up dice + taking breaks to smoke, to pee, to eat, to drink, to pick up vital stuff they forgot in their rooms, etc. That difference causes delays in the start and the finish of a match. Clocks avoid it. There is no better argument than a clock for the smooth progress of a tournament schedule. No clock = no play in Open Division will always be my tournament policy.
