Isn't this just asking for gammon?

To answer your own question look at XG's numbers. You win 2% more gammons and you lose 4% more gammons, not much of a difference once you swing in how much more often you win by slotting. I think you're too scared of the gammon here. Remember, he hits only 30.5% of the time and even then you aren't likely to lose a gammon either coming in immediately and getting back in the game or simply getting cubed out.
