From EPC lesson 1 : It is useful for solving stack and straggler pos, and the walter trice prop, but if you set up some really strange bearoff pos (which happens in real play once every blue moon), which are the pos you want EPC to solve because formulas and adjustement methods don't to the trick, then I bet 95% of all people who use EPC are not able to find the correct solution because it is so difficult to assess the proper wastage. Maybe I need to practice more but I feel a more complete coverage is needed for the EPC to be really useful for me atleast.
