I don't recall too many replies where you only put one on the rail by hitting on the acepoint, but the 24/18 openings are among them. 24/22 is not the greatest split but splits look good here (safe and particularly helpful if opp hits on our acepoint). Meanwhile 13/11 nearly forces us to take action with that checker next turn -- delaying the split even longer.
