Nice, and I'm a Pepsi over Coke fan too. (though I'll drink either)

So last night we go to this bar, I order a pound of wings and a coke. I drink a lot of Pepsi/Coke and would whip the hell out of the old Pepsi challenge, whether it be straight up with my pizza or mixed in my most delicious cocktails. So upon tasting the 'coke' I ordered last night I knew it was off.

It wasn't bad but it wasn't right. I couldn't put my finger on what it was because it wasn't flat or diet or anything that is usually wrong when coke is messed up. It tasted like it was meant to taste that way but it clearly wasn't just Coke or Pepsi or even RC. My sister suggested that maybe it tasted funny because there wasn't any Beam in it lol.

I go ask the bartender what they have there, Coke or Pepsi. He says 'kind of a mix'. Well, that explains things. This is your normal US bar, you don't expect someone to skimp to get what I'm told is 'Kola with a K' as he makes the sign language K in the air. I laughed, said ok, then headed out the door. Right next door was a pizza place, I went in, picked up a 2 litre ($2.75!) of Pepsi and right back to the bar. Handed the bar guy the 2 litre and told him to make my drinks with that all night. He laughed and obliged.
