i also think backgammon is much more fun than holdem poker, but my bg buddies gone poker (those of them who are succesful) claims that beating the 1-2 and 2-4$ nl cash games are easy when you get the hang of it(lots of bad players etc) and you can make a bigger profit in these games than say play 10-20 $ backgammon money games on the internet unless you are manipulating your rating or similar crap like that.

If i were u and wanted to focus on winning money in poker i would definitely choose no . limit cash games.
