Yes, for sure, BB=Big Blind makes sense for No Limit. I haven't read much of anything about win rates in NL -- just wanted to point out that for Limit win rates BB means Big Bets and that BB was used for both in the OP's message.
Concerning (1), if you have a job your bankroll still should have nothing to do with your income. I won't go on a br management discourse but your bankroll should be completely separate from your other money.
That's probably all true -- no argument here. But I think I was approaching from a different angle. A few million times in r.g.p players ask: I wanna play X/Y stake poker so how much bankroll $ do I need to not go broke? And really, for casual non-pro players, if you're a winner, and have a job, you don't need a bankroll. F.ex., you don't need to build/establish a separate bankroll of $6,900 before sitting down at a $10/20 table. One buy-in is sufficient; if you lose that, you can always go to the ATM.
