Your example assumes that the overall winner wins an average of 7.2 games out of 12 games. This leads to $27.60 earnings over 12 games and a .46 ppg win rate. This is drastically different than the assumed .2 ppg and $12 earnings.

Nevertheless, your post has given me some ideas as to how to factor the rake effect. I will update my calculations after others have also had the chance to advise.
