Is that the usual relative sizes?

I'm starting to get curious as to the reason Neil stated for not entering the side pool then.

Anyone have some input on my other questions:

In the US, do you typically follow any guidelines as to the size of the side-pool compared to the entry fee?

Do you sometimes use differentiated or floating side-pools?
