In Response To: Does Jacoby Rule affect checker play? Implications for Hickey and Storer's WHAT'S YOUR GAME PLAN? (Rick Janowski)

So typically effectively GP of .43 with no Jacoby and .30 without.

Let's compare an opening 43 played 2D. The game is about equal. You win about .4% fewer games but you win about 1.5% more gammons. (about 15.6 vs. 14.1)

If I am understanding things correctly this theory predicts that the money game equity for 43D using Jacoby would be lower than if not using it. The theory predicts how much lower? I am in the process of doing an extremely long RO for each situation and I am not seeing a difference.
