I need some help here.

Even though there only a small difference between the two plays 9/5 and 13/10 9/8, I have trouble deciding which is best. Am I better off with two checkers outside, so that I have a little more flexibility in the final bear-in next turn, or should I put a checker on the 5pt now, pretty much right where I want it?

This is a general theme that arises during many bear-ins.
