8/3* is a candidate. But this doesn't really help alleviate Blue's problem of being sequestered on the 24-point. Sometimes you just have to stare down the barrel of a gun and hope it jams.

After 24/20 there are two reasonable aces: 24/23 and 8/7. The first puts pressure on White's stripped 8-point (in case he uses one of those to PoH) while the second smooths out the homeside builder distribution. Given Blue's biggest concern is PoH and White's 8-point checkers could be involved in that scenario, I like the double split.
