Candidates are 13/9(4), 13/5(2), 15/11(2) 13/9(2), 15/11(2) 8/4(2), 13/9(2) 8/4(2), and 8/4(2) 6/2(2). I like 13/9(4), clearing the troublesome midpoint and giving us lots of flexibility and point-making rolls next turn. The disadvantages are that we still have to clear the 15pt, and we forgo making any new home-board points. But we want to consolidate our race lead and avoid leaving shots. Though I haven't actually gone through all the rolls, I suspect that 13/9(4) minimizes the number of blotting rolls next turn (and the rolls that do blot allow us to hit loose on the 1pt if White's guard is still there).
