1. I think 14/7 lets White flood the outfield too freely. I play 20/14 7/6.
2. With big boardage, seek big blottage. How big is our board advantage here? Do we want more contact or less contact? Not sure. OTB I'd probably play 20/9 but QF makes me think 20/14 11/6 is better.
3. Seems like it's time to pay. 18/16 18/15 is the normal way to break anchor in this sort of position, I think. It also happens to duplicate White's 3's to hit and cover.
4. I don't see any advantage to stepping up our straggler. The only real candidates I see are the safe 10/7 and the bold 7/5 6/5. Our straggler is in danger of getting attacked and the only way I see to strengthen our defense is to strengthen our board; however, making the 5pt will surely get us gammoned more often. Not sure but I'll try making the 5pt.
