Regarding question 1, it would be nice to have an EMG/MWC switch for that pie chart. Time for a feature request?

In the meantime, we could indulge in guesses. I think, based on the idea that in match situations where the MWC stake per EMG unit is maximal (i.e., DMP/dead cube), cube errors are practically impossible, that, for most players, the ratio of cube decision equity loss vs. checker play equity loss may be slightly smaller when measured in MWC as opposed to EMG.
