1) When behind in th race, maintain contact. That impliess 20/19(2) is to be avoided.

2) Avoid premature burial. That implies that hitting on the ace is wrong.

3) Don't apply rules mechanically, so either 20/19(2) or 2/1* may be correct.

How'd I do?

As for my play, I don't think getting hit is the end of the game, and with the anchor it's not that likely to lose a gammon, so hit and spread em around 2/1* 10/7.
