What book is recommended for improving cube skills?

Kit also has a booklet entitled, I believe, "How to Play Tournament Backgammon" that is quite good as a discussion of the math and theory of match play, including match equity and cube decisions. Perhaps, with your referenced Cube Reference Positions, a good foundation for study exists.
