The race isn't particularly close (with opp's wastage) and we're not really interested in blocking. It's not that easy for opp to make his 6-point, but it's not out of the question. If we're going to leave a shot in our outfield we're better off doing that sooner than later. Meanwhile this is a decent roll for putting checkers in good bearoff locations.
