I'd try 24/18 13/7(3) in the first position and 13/1*(2) in the second.

In the second position, 13/7(4) looks too fragile. In the first position, 13/1*(2) looks O.K. but a blitz attempt is less likely to succeed when White has Blue's 4pt slotted already. I'd rather try to escape the last checker despite the large number of shots.
