Being a vocal opponent of vTMP, I'd be a hypocrite to vote for making the 3-point. Sometimes TMP isn't so bad -- when you have a point that can be cleared moderately easily. That is unlikely after today's play.

9/5 will only leave a shot next term with 6-1 and 6-2. It will (likely) improve the board, not break it. And we won't have five checkers on the 3- and 9-points -- a nasty structure after today's vTMP play.

I repeat: 9/5.
