18/10(2) looks automatic at first. The advantage the 18/14(2), 13/9(2) is that Stick will possibly (likely) give up his midpoint and then our outermost checkers will not be in the line of fire.

QF says 18/14(2), 13/9(2).

Doublets lets the vTMPers off the hook.
