I don't think we can clump all of these scenarios together. It's a big difference if a friend loans you a book than if someone you barely know owes you money from a bet. Even if a friend owes you money I can understand forgetting if it's an insignificant amount. I don't think there's a rat's ass of a chance the person I loaned a few k to *forgot* about it.

I also want to re-emphasize that our agreement was to pay up when we saw each other in person at whatever tournament. Maybe he could have forgot or not thought about it once or twice, big benefit of the doubt, but it's been a few times and never a word. It's clear after these posts he didn't forget. Also, we mentioned live play in the beginning and we were both fine with it. Never did I say no to live play. The only thing I took off the table was doing some big session next week at Novi.

When we were chatting on GG before we started playing David was deciding what stakes he wanted to play and I said I didn't care. He chose a lower stake he said because I was supposed to be better than him. This is from memory so David can correct me if I'm wrong but again, I have some screenshots somewhere of the entire chat window that I can find if needs be. Turns out maybe I was barely better than him in this session and all of a sudden that's just impossible.
