I know a world class Othello player who once used a bot to play a 60 second game just to show it could be done. Each player makes 30 moves in a game of Othello. So, each move was made in two seconds. This was done using two PCs. Othello bots are quicker to use than Backgammon bots since one only needs to click a square once. But, I believe the point is still valid. A pro can cheat quickly.
