In general outfield points provide more coverage if not 6 pips apart. It is not possible to keep all pts for long so one will have to be broken and it is easier to disengage from the 15 pt.

With that in mind and noting that I have the advantage of my XGR++ analysis of the match I somewhat prefer 20/10 with 16/11(2) bring another checker into play.

This first game of the match is a comedy of errors from Nevzat's side when it comes to playing against 1 checker back. Many missed doubles and incorrect plays.

That being said, some of the first games of my matches aren't showpieces either. This doesn't come from nerves, but I think comes from the fact that I am sometimes simply not mentally there in game 1. This also seems to happen to me at bridge as well.
