Both moves have their merits IMHO. The danger of the back blot is limited because the opp has not got that much ammunition. OTOH, we can often make the 5 point later and opp has to play a backgame without decent timing. XG says after a 4-ply RO that even AtS it is better to run. I lost a bet and learned something.
