In Response To: clarification (Chiva Tafazzoli)

And if A, 3pts left, is box against B (cap) and C, and loses a gammon on cube 2, will it be:

1) B and C both get 3 pts (increasing the total points by 3)

2) B gets 2 and C gets 1 (B as captain should get the first extra point available).

Option 1) seems indicated by Phil's original post, but seems unelegant to me.
