2-point matches with doubling cube

Well, it's only an automatic double if you assume your opponent plays perfectly. Quite often in real life they aren't doubled immidiately either because one or both don't know what they are doing or because both assume they can outplay the other guy.

Whether this kind of format is good idea as opposed to a regular dmp tourney is another question. I have no experiences with it, but believe I've seen some bitching about it on this board in the past.
