2-point matches with doubling cube

You just put the doubling cube on 2 in the middle, then after the opening move, you turn the cube to the next level - you're allowed to double only when the cube has reached 64 before you commence your turn (eg. the 7th move of the match, that is, when each player has completed 3 moves - extended Holland rule).
The nice thing here is, that should one of the players be a math-professor, who cannot keep his concentration if he has to count to six while playing, the cube takes care of it freeing up brain cycles to move those opening 3-1's correctly :-)
